A really nice open shelf or two that is well put together still looks amazing.
And a galley kitchen with open shelves is such a classic!
Is it because it is a gorgeous, soft, ballerina pink? If you add one color to your decor (and wardrobe) this year make it millennial pink!
The pink trend started about 5 years ago and pink has morphed several times.
I’m not talking about the brass of the 80’s and 90’s.
So if you have that shiny brass chandelier in the basement waiting for it to come back I say paint it and use it outside above your picnic table. I never really bought into the copper or rose gold fad!
Now let’s talk about what’s going to be hot for 2018 and maybe a little beyond!
image I can’t remember when one color has had so much fuss made over it.
Think red door, white walls, white floors, soft neutral furniture and one red chair. And I think a suede or velvet millennial pink slipper chair is the quintessential feminine accessory in home decor although the only place I can think of putting it is in my closet! One very hot and classic combination is white and black. We have moved away from everything being the same color. Just look how well it works for you in your wardrobe? Lets show the “Before & Afters” of this transformation! He is the HARDEST working person I’ve ever met in my life! We painted the ugly wood panels of the fridge black! I really wanted to use chalkboard paint there but hubs IXNAYED that idea 🙁 We also installed a blackout curtain for our bedroom . Appropriate for the diamond plate backsplash, right?? Anyone who’s made a bunkbed understands this dilemma! the regular 84″ panel fit perfectly from ceiling to floor~ Oh yes .
